Hi there.
We are the B3 Rebelles.

The B3 Rebelles are back for year 3 of the Rebelle Rally with a little more experience, a lot of fun stories, and a new teammate.

With our beloved "Boss" Hanna Temkin taking a much needed break to attend to some other Boss things in her life, Bernard was still ready to Rebelle and the hunt for a new navigator was on. Where would the B3 Rebelles find their missing "B"? In a sudden moment of perfect timing (and a series of back and forth on social media), Jenn our "Borrowed Squirrel" emerged.

Marie & Jenn first met through the wonderful world of the Rebelle social network. When Marie saw that Jenn's team, the Long Beach RaceHERS, were having a pancake fundraiser so close to home, she knew she had to come out and support a hometown Rookie Rebelle team. Rebelle friendships are probably best described as pressure cooker friendships. In the short time that they've known each other, there have been lots of laughs, some difficult moments, and a whole lot of celebrating all wins, big or small.

They're ready to take on the 2025 Rebelle and all of the adventure and great times with Bernard that lie ahead.

MEET MARIE.

“The Bulldozer”

A lot of us all remember the first big purchase that we could finally afford as adults. Bernard was Marie’s big purchase. Years of fangirling over the Camel Trophy and Dakar Rally put Land Rover on her radar, and the Discovery II was the car for her. Bernard was going to be her faithful companion in a life of fun and adventure.

And then reality sunk in. The dream life of fun in the outdoors had to make way for work and adult responsibilities. Bernard’s imagined life of fun and adventure became a life of daily driving and the tough Los Angeles commute. Then, as gas prices started to climb, Bernard and his less than desirable MPG had to make way for a more economical daily driver. But Marie refused to sell him, still holding out for that life of fun & adventure that she had planned for Bernard.

So, when Marie decided that she wanted to sign up for the Rebelle Rally, she knew that there was only one option for a third teammate. Family and friends suggested that she buy a newer and more reliable car, but the Rebelle Rally was exactly the adventure that she & Bernard were holding out for.

MEET JENN.

“Borrowed Squirrel”

Just having a wheely good time”. Jenn Lee (aka: Squirrel) is an adventurous spirit with a passion for exploring the great outdoors. When she’s not navigating trails in her Ford Ranger, she’s trading in 4 wheels for 8 wheels and lacing up her roller skates for the thrill of competition in the world of roller derby and park skating. Through roller derby is how she got her nickname of “Squirrel”.

Last year, Jenn put her navigation skills to the test by competing in her rookie year of the 2024 Rebelle Rally as part of the Long Beach RaceHERS. The experience deepened her love for off-roading, exploring breathtaking terrain and further solidified her belief in the power of perseverance and teamwork.

Jenn is beyond honored to be a part of the B3 Rebelles, putting her navigation skills back to the test again as the “Borrowed Squirrel”

MEET BERNARD.
